Our Boxed Activities for Tweens and Teens are perfect boredom busters!
We’re batty about HPL BATTs! Our monthly Boxed Activities for Tweens and Teens ages 9-18 are perfect boredom busters. These prepackaged STEAM activities include materials to complete a craft or STEM activity in the comfort of your home. Starting in February 2021 we're offering TWO types of BATTs each month - Craft and STEM - and you can register for both!
Each BATTs contains the materials needed to for one individual to complete the enclosed project.* BATTs are sent to the HPL TO GO location indicated in registration for pick-up. Some activities may encourage adult supervision so caregivers should always review activity instructions. Please note that there is no actual event to attend; this "event" is just a way to advertise this activity box to you. Boxes may be picked up during the hours that the HPL TO GO location of your choice is open; you'll be contacted by the location, or you can schedule a hold pickup when your box is available.
This registration is for February's STEM activity: Seed Bombs
**If you have an HPL MYLink library card please add the information when registering. If you do not have an HPL MyLink card, please make sure to enter a phone number, so you can be contacted by the location when your box is ready for pickup**
Participants are limited to one BATT - STEM and one BATT - Craft each month. Registration opens February 22, 2020. Space is limited.
*Additional common materials may be needed for some activities such as water or markers.
